Welcome to Grade 12 English at Bishop Allen!
This is your last high school English class and it’s going to be wonderful! Your goals in English will remain the same: to think critically about a text and communicate your ideas with clarity and sophistication!
Grade 12 students will study non-fiction essays and speeches, short stories, read one or two dramas, read one or two novels, engage in a poetry unit, work on an Individual study project, and write a final exam. The level of study in grade 12 will affect the texts and assignments that you will perform.
